Frazer Van Roekel
Growing up in rural Alberta, there was always something to do, something to build and problems to solve. Creativity and a hands-on approach went a long way to getting the job done. Many of these principles - sans dirty hands - are applied to the projects we take on.
In all walks of life, I believe it is important to keep learning and growing wherever you are. I give every project the research and attention that it deserves to arrive at an original, functional and innovative design. I am currently registered to practice in Alberta and Saskatchewan.

ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGIST
Alex van den Berg
Raised in southern Alberta, my enthusiasm for architectural design began at a young age. Hands on construction experience solidified my desire to pursue a career in architecture and I spent two years at SAIT obtaining my architectural technologist diploma. As I explored my passion, I gained a lasting appreciation for how significantly the physical world around us impacts our lives. The next 5 years were spent at an engineering firm where I was exposed daily to building construction knowledge, engineering principles and earned my C.E.T. designation.

I am continually excited by taking design concepts and adding detail to every project making them a unique working reality.

Maroun Allaf
Born and raised in Lebanon, I’ve always had a passion for design, structure, and how things come together. That curiosity led me to earn a Master’s degree in Architecture. My journey in architecture and construction has taken me across Lebanon, the UAE, Morocco, and now Canada.
Along the way, I’ve had the chance to work in diverse environments—from design studios to construction sites—which has shaped a well-rounded and practical approach to building. Today, I’m part of the team at Van Roekel Architecture, where I’m continuing to grow my expertise in Canadian design standards, local bylaws, and construction.

I believe in lifelong learning and staying curious—both in work and in life. Outside of the office, I’m an avid swimmer and hiker, always looking for the next trail or a refreshing dive.
